I got confirmation that mine shipped on Thursday. I figured it would take a week since I'm in Seattle. Imagine the joy when it showed up in the mail on Saturday! 2 day delivery, woohoo!
I installed it this morning. Easy install, it works great, it is easy and intuitive to program, I love it!
My advice if you have an 05 or 06 Mini (Mine is an 06), do the downtube removal install method. I started "blind" and got the connector undone, but realized that it was going to be a pain to get the new connector on to the back of the switch panel without screwing something up. It might work if you have really small hands. I don't.
The downtube install method only takes 10-15 minutes total with testing, etc. It's 4 bolts to get the downtubes loose, 2 bolts to pull the switch bar out, and you're all good. Super Easy. I don't know that the blind method would be that much quicker, it would likely have taken me longer.
Thank you Mike for organizing and administrating the purchase!
Thank you Ian for designing and manufacturing such a great product! I'm an engineer and very much appreciate a great solution to a nagging problem.

When you pull the bolts on the down tubes (for some reason the bolts on the driver's side are much larger than those on the pass. side), you will be able to pull the down tubes down towards the floor. This will drop the top below the level of the center dash piece, and you will be able to shift them slightly to the sides (you'll have to close the glove box, which was open to get at the bolts). The 2 bolts holding the switch panel on are on the front of the pane, so you just need to slide the tubes to the side enough to get at these to torx head bolts and pull them out. Your switch panel is now free and you're on your way.
Just got mine in the mail. Should be installing it tomorrow if it doesn't rain again.
Me, too. I'm excited. Beautiful directions.

WooHoo! Replaced my MCAW with my Ian Cull circuit tonight - love the way Ian's circuit programs - very easy to do and remember. And now I have auto front fogs and DSC track mode - Yeah Baby!
The "group buy" that drove availability of a new batch of circuits is "closed" ... about half the batch have been ordered by people that got in early.
The rest of the batch will be available to all once the password is removed from the ordering page which will happen once early folks have had sufficient courtesy time to get their order in (likely at the end of the weekend).

Does the tip light up when you turn them on? That should be independent of the fuse ...
Of course if any MINI circuit issue is suspected, step one is to remove it and see if the problem remains or goes away.

Nope... fog switch is just dead now... was programmed for AFF last night and it worked great. This AM I noticed the fogs didn't come on - I pushed the toggle and they still didn't come on. I confirmed that auto window up and track mode DSC still work like a charm. I went through the programming sequence to turn AFF off and on a couple of times, but no change (and the fog switch tip never illuminated). I'll troubleshoot / test some more this evening - including checking the fog fuse and removing the module, if necessary. I'm confident I'll figure it out. Just weird that it worked, then stopped.
Put mine in today. I have a 05 mcsc and did the blind method. It was a little tricky but I thought it would be faster then down tube remove. Now I LOVE this thing and would like to thank all involved in the new batch!
Ten minutes later I see this MINI on the news!!!!!!
Fixed! My foglight relay under the bonnet decided this was an opportune time to back itself out of the socket... probably a good thing, because a few other (more important) relays in there were also about 90% of the way out.
Rained most of the day here and no garage to work in. I guess I'll try it tomorrow. High of 44, no rain in forecast.
