MINI MANIA PERFORMANCE EXHAUST - MINI COOPER S

Performance exhaust for your 2007+ R56 MINI Cooper S Hardtop. This is a 'bolt-on' system that requires NO cutting.

Made from 2 1/2" T-304 stainless steel with dual 3" chrome tips. Eliminates downstream catalytic converter and includes a free flow muffler for reduced back pressure over stock design resulting in a gain of 10 - 12 hp. This system produces a deeper tone with only a slight increase in volume.

NO cutting required - the Mini Mania system installs at the flange, just ahead of the downstream cat. Since the O2 sensors are upstream, this will not trigger the Check Engine Light. Check your local regulations regarding the removal of the downstream cat.
The following excerpt is from Jay Kavanaugh, a turbosystems engineer at Garrett.
"As for 2.5" vs. 3.0", the "best" turboback exhaust depends on the amount of flow, or horsepower. At 250 hp, 2.5" is fine. Going to 3" at this power level won't get you much, if anything, other than a louder exhaust note. 300 hp and you're definitely suboptimal with 2.5". For 400-450 hp, even 3" is on the small side.”
