Italian Job Charity Run Saturday November 7 in Los Angeles

I'm posting this for my friend Charlie who organizes this charity even each year.


Are you ready for another fun filled MINI event to raise money for charity?

We are back with the 3rd Annual MINI Cooper Charity Run Event. Again we will use the themes from the Italian Job movie and will have gold bars for each participating car. This will again be an all day event with the proceeds going to the charity of the winner's choice*, with a break for lunch.

(*Please note: The winning car of the event can select the charities to benefit from a selection of approximately 15 Nationally recognized charities to be listed when the signup process is ready and announced.)

Event Details:
Date: Saturday, November 7, 2009
Cost: $40 per car, of which at least $32 will go to the charity of the winner's choice and up to $8 as needed will go to the administrative costs like prizes, gold bars one for each registered car, etc.

Last year's MINI Cooper Italian Job Charity Run was a big success, thanks to the friendly, supportive, and generous people that participated. We all had fun pretending we were part of the story of the Italian Job movie by driving around Los Angeles together and "going for the gold".
