Strut brace mushrooming: anyone else experiencing it?

Hey all again

So given the recent snowfall, the mini was involved with an incident which involved blackice/packed-down-snow, lost of steering, the passenger front wheel, and a curb. upon inspection i can tell that the camber was off, and i'm praying that that's the only damage inflicted from such a lateral blow.

but anyway, when driving today, i remembered the thread on NAM, in "under the bonnet" that was dedicated to the strut mount mushrooming issues, and i decided to take a look underneath my bonnet to see if i have the same issues.

from what i saw, it was clear that i have some mushrooming. wheter it was caused by the recent blow, i'm not sure since the car has had a slight tendency to pull right before hand. However, what i am wondering about is if anyone else locally has had any mushrooming issues, and if so, how did they deal with it?

thanks in advance again, guys.

happy motorings and drive safe for the following periods.

it hurts when the MINI gets damaged, trust me, i know.
