Our Annual Rally event is back Saturday, May 24, this time with a difference!

This is an urban rally, with the route running through Vancouver and the North Shore. Twists and turns are guaranteed.

Questions about things and places that you pass along the way, will take the place of checkpoints and timing equipment. Speed is not a factor.

This event is open to NEW MINI and classic Mini cars only. We have a limit of 30 CARS, so register quickly!

Prizes will be awarded to the top three winners. And a complimentary BBQ will be held for all participants by our event sponsor, MINI Yaletown.

We will be running rain or shine!

Date: Saturday, May 24, 2008

Start / End point: MINI Yaletown Parts and Service Centre, 790 Terminal Avenue, Vancouver

Number of Participants: 30 cars (each team requires a driver and a navigator)

Registration: 8.45 AM - 9.30 AM

Driver's Briefing: 9.30 AM - 9.45 AM

First Car Out: 9.50 AM

Start of BBQ: 1.30 PM

Registration fee: $15 for members, $20 for non-members

Bring: Your New or classic MINI, a navigator (or the whole family), snacks, full tank of gas, and loads of FUN

In the spirit of the FUN theme of 2008 Fun Rally rally, we have decided to add a special category to the rally - BEST FUN MINI!

That's right, not a Best of Show, or Best Concours MINI, but the MINI that best exemplifies the cheeky and playful nature of the MINI image.

'Dress' up your MINI/Mini to bring a smile or a chuckle to the faces of your fellow MINIacs, motorists and passersby, and you may just win yourself a very nice prize, consisting of a wine gift certificate, courtesy of Sip Wines of Richmond, valued at $40!

10% price break on MINI Lifestyle Gear * (not including clearance items)

10% break on MINI accessories (parts AND labour) * - any work must be booked before June 15 and a deposit is required.

* This discount offer is good till June 15, 2008 - all rally participants will get a rally ticket/discount coupon which they can show to get their discounts.

We have a few spots still available for participation in the rally, so we ask you to let your fellow MINI/Mini 'Miniacs' know about this event, and to have them preregister for this event before Saturday if possible, so that we will have sufficient resources to accommodate everyone.
