vehicle storage in Vancouver area

Hi,

How's everyone? I hope everybody is keeping dry during these stormy weather

I will be away on holidays for about a month, I don't have a garage therefore I need a place to store my vehicle. Just wondering if you know a good car storage place in the Vancouver area, I plan to hook-up a solar panel to prevent the battery from discharging, or should I take out the battery entirely and hook it up with a battery charger?

Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance for your input

Try those public storage but I suggest that the car is totally dry as there is not much ventillation in there. Your car is very new & for 1 month, you can just remove the cable from the battery. I store mine for about 5 months inside my garage and I use Motomaster trickle charge overnight twice a week. It also has an overcharge protection cut-off should you wish to leave it ON all the time.

ED955S,

Thanks, I think I'll just disconnect the battery cable then. I am going to check out those public storage place this weekend, last time I left my car @ the outdoor airport parking, the small windshield stone chip crack went from 2 cm to 30 cm in a month, I end-up having to replace the windshield, this time I'll try to keep my car indoor and away from the elements.

Do you have any recommendations as to where I should store my vehicle?

Thanks again,

mtgperson

mtgperson,

I do not have any storage place that I can recommend but you should look around for one that's close to your place that is well secured or with BBB accreditation.

Good luck.
