yes we've had rallies..
we've also had a BBQ (at his house), MINI-golf (in freeport and now the place of monthly meetings), and a kite contest getting prepped..
I was looking for a mini car club on long island too and came across the USMini Club and joined as soon as I found the website. Hell I joined before I even owned a Mini!! LOL Anyways I have talked with some people on the forum including Rob and they are all real nice and acceptive to new members. I would like to get together and "hang out" etc like some other clubs do. A friend of mine has an '02 Subaru WRX and him a few of his friends started LISC or Long Island Subaru Club, and I have joined him in quite a few gatherings. We head up to D.P.A. (Deer Park Avenue) as your probably knew and we park in a parking lot and talk about Subaru's etc and watch all the stupid honda's drive up and down DPA and get into acidents and all kinds of other crazy crap that goes on there. Unfortunately for me I live way out on the South Fork in the hamptons so getting together with other members is hard becuase most people live up west. But I'm willing to drive to meet some new people, check out some cars to see what they have done and just talk about Mini's and stuff in general. And like Rob said if you have any ideas, come over and join USMINI Club and lets get together and hang out somewhere!! Take care,

Sounds good...........R u the guys at the Diner? I always see a bunch of Subies there and a nice Skyline from time to time. If so, im sure you seen my Blue Mini rippin by.
Yeah that's us....at the Olympic Diner. Had many fun nights there last winter and this spring. We see soo many cars go by!!! Yeah they have a RHD skyline and a RHD Acura Integra as well. Pretty cool bunch of guys there. They are pretty open to other types of vehicles too! But yeah that's LISC representing! lol anyways I dont know if you subscribed to the thread about the vwvortex group meeting at Chili's in Holtsville but I'd like to get together with some fellow LI mini owners and check out some rides but I dont know where people meet up. If you have some info on some places to check out I'd appreciate it. Thanks
