My wife and I bought a used 2006 MCS in Salt Lake City. We live in Fl. Flew out to SLC on Sat., picked up the car, did some tourist things on Sunday and started driving back on Monday. Went through the Rockies on Monday, Plains on Tues., Headed South on Wed. and finished up today. Figured if we did not like the Mini we would sell it in Fl., but I guess it will be a keeper. The car is an automatic and really enjoyed playing with the sport mode, paddles etc. Car also has Navigation and it was a big help and a lot of fun to use. I am 60 years old, so not too young anymore but my back and leg felt better in the Mini, than it does in our Lexus 300 RX. Anyway, just thought I would post this for those people who have some misgiving about the Auto transmission and Navigation. I think they are both worth it. Averaged 30 mpg and that was at mostly 75 and 80 mph. Pictures are from cell phone.
I just drove 800 miles in mine and I didn't feel nearly as stiff as i do when I get out of my Honda minivan. The sportseats are great even for someone tall like me.
