I thought that a cv joint was going out because of all the shaking going on when I let off the throttle. Without a lug wrench or a jack because of the freakin run flat tires I couldn't investigate any further while waiting four hours for a tow in the middle of BFE Utah. The lug nuts were loose for one of two reasons, either the powder coating flaked off or the place that I had the tires rotated didn't torque the drivers front tire. Me thinks the latter.
Wow I had no idea the R56 came without a jack or tools. My R53 with runflats came with them. If that was me I'd be pitching a huge hissy fit at my dealer & be demanding the tools. I'm glad you picked up on the vibration & investigated. That must have been a very long day for you guys.
i have to tell you..
i love how you put this all together..
brilliant!!!
thank you for making me wanna get out there in my car and haul butt!

I think that's one of the many things that changed throughout the year. Unless I'm mistaken, the early R56's didn't have the jack/tools, the later ones did. Mine was built in August and it has them.
