Driving in the Alps

A few of us are putting together a Labor Day run through the Alps. Probably 2 full days in the Alps, and another two days for travel to and from (details are here).

Been thinking of basing our of Davos. Planning on getting down to the Matterhorn one day, and out maybe as far as Passo di Pennes for the second day (and a bunch of peaks in between).

Any places we really, really should hit?

Any good places for a group photo?

It must be nice. If I was over there, I'd love to go. Post some photos when you get back.

Matterhorn/Zermatt area is great. Drove almost there all the way from Munich once in winter (in a rented van though :D). Had to get on a train in a middle of nowhere cause the road was blocked with snow
