I am not a huge fan of chrome wheels but I like the look of polished aluminum. Has anybody had their S-lites polished? I am seriously considering doing this. Any photos?
Two people at my work had it done one with a CR/white MCS and one dark silver both look very nice. I will try to take pictures today. BTW it was $80 per wheel out here in SoCal.

There are two ways for the chrome look. One is to polish the aluminum after removing the silver finish of the S-lytes and the other is to chrome the wheels. Chroming costs about $200 a wheel plus shipping.
Here is an example of a chromed S-lyte on the black MCS-
Depending on the quality of the chroming process, the finish may not last.
My Centerlines are an example of polished aluminum and are doing fairly well over time.

I have seen some rather crappy jobs done so it might be that you get what you pay for. I worst job I had seen was where the polisher took off a lot of material on the edges and it made the rims look very 'unrefined'. However the s-lites don't have any sharp edges so that should not be an issue.

Do you know where in SoCal your coworkers took their rims?
This comes to about $163 per rim to chrome plus shipping.
Note that polishing adds no extra weight.
Chroming adds metal and about 2 pounds more per rim!
