Has anyone tried the brake dust covers on their mini? If so, did they work?

I am thinking about ordering a set given the amount of brake dust the cooper puts out.

Try using the search feature. This has been discussed:

Your money would be better spent getting hi-performance dustless break pads. Covers could cause overheating of brakes in extreme situations. Pads such as EBC greenstuff have worked better and caused 90% less dust during to kevlar compound and would not void any warrenty on you brake system. Since the MINI is new these pads should be out very soon. Try the Tire Rack website for more info.

I just got in the habit of cleaning them more often. Also read the sticker that came on the windshield.
