tuner lugs or ? for aftermarket wheels
bought some akita wheels for wifes R57, look great. Thing is lug hole is alot smaller and deeper than OEM so my no scratch 17MM socket will not fit in hole, a reg 17MM socket will but there is a chance of scratching the hole .
Is there lugs designed for this tight fit ? Factory lugs are 14x1.25x30 and this lug fits the akita as well as it is actually a tad thinner and I measured the hub and it looks like even a 40mm bolt would work fine.
Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction, I don't think I want to switch to studs unless that is the only way.
My rota's have none of these issues, a completely different lay out
I see several of what is called tuner bolts but they look just like the factory bolts to me. I would prefer to not have a "key" and just a factory like bolt with maybe a 15mm head size, as in use a 15mm socket instead of 17mm.
I guess if they fit as they do they will work fine so long as I keep discount tire away from them. I would just like to use a nylon covered socket like I do now except it won't fit now, the bolt itself fits fine.

Yes I could , just prefer to use a nice socket with plastic around it , I know I can just get a smaller socket like that, thinking a bolt with a 14/15 mm head should be able to fit in my wheels hole which is 24mm , the burger protected 17mm socket is like 28mm od .
