4 lugs? 5 lugs? Flip a coin or what?

I've got a 2014 Mini Cooper Convertible, and unfortunately we hit a pothole in Houston and I believe I now have two bent rims... inside of 1400 miles mind you.

Currently I have the black 17" Sport Conical factory rims, which I know I wont want to replace at the cost of factory parts.

So I've been researching online and most things that I find say that its a 5x112 or 5x114.3 pattern..... except I only have 4 lugs on my rims. So is it a 4x100?

You might have luck doing a Google search for a shop that does wheel restoration. Most of the time they can fix bent wheels, depending on how bad they are. Found Houston Wheel Repair. Check it out and see what they might be able to do before you have to buy 4 new wheels. Good luck!

Yeah... I think those XXR 535's (as seen here) would look good on my metallic white silver Union Jack convertible.

Sorry to hear about your wheel damage

You can also save your receipts and put in a claim to the city govt for not maintaining the roads causing damage to your wheels/tires.

Here's the damage. I didn't want to believe it, but I finally found it.

Am I the only one with this kind of luck? Not even 1500 miles on it yet.

Ouch, that stinks.

Some repair places will do it if the wheel is not cracked. But if the repair cost more then a new wheel then you have the wheels linked above.

With +20 offset, will these fit the factory ContiContact Pro tires, and will they stick out any?

http://www.nlmotoring.com/XXR-535-Wh.../53578082n.htm

And if the 17" factory wheels that I have now, are 17x7 should I go with these instead?
http://www.nlmotoring.com/XXR-535-Wh.../53577082n.htm
These have +35 offset, so will they stick out even further?

The lower the offset the further they will stick out. ET20 is not an appropriate offset.

Have you looked at the NM Engineering wheels , they are pretty nice if you go aftermarket and light weight for the size.

The good news is that my suspension has been checked out and it is completely fine and non-damaged. The rubbing during a hard left turn is from the bent rim.

The bad news is that I have two bent rims. My options are to pay $575 for factory replacements from ECS, $806 for factory replacements from the dealership and beg them for a tire/wheel warranty, or $460 for aftermarket XXR 535's.

My only question is will the 17x7 XXR 535's fit the factory run flat tires?

I doubt that aftermarket wheels are designed with the EH2 hump profile recommended for run flat tires. The two humps on the wheel bead profile keep the tire from slipping off the wheel in the case of air pressure loss.

I like the one you have pictured above, but it appears that they only have it in 18". I'm sticking with 17" because my tires are still good. They've only got 1500 miles on them.
