post-JCW brake upgrade - help!

After installing JCW brake kit and new Goodridge SS lines, i bled the lines and now i don't have any brakes.

Details:
So i bought the JCW brake kit from a friend. I got the lines, caliper and rotors and pads. I then ordered the Goodridge SS lines.
I installed new rear pads today, and SS lines in the front with the JCW brake kit. All went well, until towards the end, when i realise i didn't have brakes. My dad and i bled the system and no air came out (we did the left front, right front then went back to the left and returned to the right...still no brake. So decided to bleed the right rear. Still no brakes. I ensured there was enough fluid in the reservoir at all times.
My dad works at a mechanic shop so he used this little pressure thingy which sucks from the nipple on the caliper. We did both front calipers and still didn't work.

I heard about "cycling the ABS" - not sure what that is, but i read a shop might have to do that.
Any advice or help would be much appreciated.

So fluid comes out of the calipers when you are bleeding? What about when you do regular manual bleeding and not with the power bleeder?

When you say you have "no brakes" are they just spongy or does the pedal actually go straight to the floor with no resistance?

Fluid comes out the caliper through the nipple when bleeding. And yea it does come out with regular manual bleeding.
"no brakes" = pedal goes straight to the floor with no resistance. But as releasing and reapplying the brake pedals seems to be ok.

Interesting. Did you let the system run dry when you had the brakes disconnected? You might have air in the MC. You could also try tapping the caliper with a rubber mallet to free up air bubbles trapped in the caliper.

No I didn't let the reservoir go dry at any point.
But I'm going to re- bleed all four lines and try hitting the caliper as you suggested
Thanks

Might have to power bleed it some more. Sounds like allot of trapped air.

I power bled but it still feels the same to me. But I bled it back letting gravity do the work and it feels better, not 100% satisfied.
Will take it to a shop.

Might take a couple times to get the all air out. Good luck.

So i took my car to a shop and got the issue fixed. Turns out i had on the calipers on wrong sides. I didn't know they had a side and since i bought them used, i grabbed one and it bolted on fine so i figured i was doing it right.
Now my car is up and running - Goodridge SS lines at all 4 corners, Motul rbf 600 brake fluid, 1st Gen JCW front brake and Akebono pads.

Thanks guys for all the help and advice though!

There's your problem. Bleeder screws should always be on the top of the caliper. Otherwise you'll never get the air out.
