Service Advisor at MINI says 90lbs. Sounds right to me.

Read that thread. Lot's of disagreement. It turned into more of a discussion about torque wrenches. Wasn't really helpful.

Mid 2006 they changed to a larger lug bolt. The Bentley service manual list the spec for the smaller bolt as
120 Nm (+-10), 89 ftlb (+-7)
So on your 2014, it should be higher than that.

What manual are you going by? Owners manual or shop manual?

Page 229 of the 2013 R56 Manual (I'd imagine the R55 would be the same):

Tightening the lug bolts
Tighten the lug bolts in a diagonal pattern.
Immediately have the wheels checked
with a calibrated torque wrench to ensure
that the lug bolts are firmly seated. Otherwise,
incorrectly tightened lug bolts can present a
safety hazard.
Tightening torque: 103.3 lb ft or 140 Nm.
Replace the defective tire as soon as possible
and have the new wheel/tire assembly balanced.

It is in the owners manual, not sure why this is such a hotly debated topic all the time.

Look at your owners manual. Different specs for different vehicles. For my 2015 R57 manual, it says 103.3 lb ft.

If you need quick access to the manual, go to miniusa.com and pull the owners manual under the OWNERS section of the site.

Should be 140Nm, which is the 103.3 quoted.

Remember that the 140 nm (103 ft lb) is a dry torque. I put a couple of drops of motor oil on my bolts and torque to 90 ft lb. If you reduce the friction by lubricating the threads (or tapered surface) then you must reduce the torque value.
