Places to shop for 16" OEM rims for 2013 Clubman?

Anyone recommend somewhere reliable? I'm looking for 16" OEM rims that I plan on adding snow tires to for the Winter.

Several options-

Check the dealership- sometimes there are takeoffs
Ebay
Craigslist
Local MINI clubs
MINI tuner shops/vendors

Consider alternative winter wheels like Tirerack.com's steel 16", not bad and cheaper plus can come with winter tires mounted/balanced. If you don't have a tirerack contact try reaching Alex at extention 4294.

Is there a particular reason you're set on OEM? If you get tires and aftermarket wheels from somewhere like Tire Rack you can get them mounted and balanced and shipped to you as a set ready to just bolt on and go.

I've gotten several sets of wheels over the years on craigslist. Just look them over to see if there are any significant dents in the wheels that may indicate that they are bent. Wheels from 07 to 13 will fit your clubbie. Since yours is an S, you need at least 16" to fit the front brakes. The tpms changed in 09/10, so you will ideally find a set of wheels from a 2010+ MINI with tpms in place.

This is also an opportunity to find a set of summer wheels and put the snow tires on your existing wheels.

Have fun,
Mike

I simply like the look of them better. I'm generally able to find them for a similar price as what I'd on a set on Tirerack. Take these for example. I assume these would be easy to get standard snow tires for, say 16" Continentals, and then just have them mounted and balanced locally. No?

Also, anyone have experience with the linked shop?

I'm running bridge spokes (the one pictured) as my winter wheels. I have R112 challenge spokes for my summer setup. I got the snows used for about $400 with sensors and worn tires. Some people are afraid of used wheels.

Also check out the ECS Tuning post in this sub-forum. Those are pretty good prices for some of the wheels pictured there. Again, maybe put snow tires on your existing wheels?

We have some great deals here, non in 16" but 17"+ , you will need the 4x100 pattern. The 5x120 ones are for the Countryman / Paceman guys. Keep your old wheels and use them for the snow especially is they are 15" or 16". Then use these for summer.
