Paint for R112 wheels
I am in the process of repairing some rash on a set of R112 wheels but I'm having a hard time finding a rattle can paint match. I tried the Hyper Silver from Duplicolor and it was too dark, tried "Ford Silver" wheel paint from VHT it was a closer match but it was a little dull as in not bright silver enough. Anyone know what color I need and more specifically where I can get the paint in a rattle can.
Thanks
John
PS These are the wheels I have

I have one nick I need to repair as well.
I researched this before, and found this article:
http://www.audiworld.com/tech/ext43.shtml
to be pretty helpful. The author used Wurth paint that matched well.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. I found a "Kit" that includes the clear-coat. Hope to have it by the weekend.

All MINI silver wheels are painted color code A54
you can get this in bottle, rattle can or bulk spray from any auto paint store that mixes paint
or
http://www.automotivetouchup.com/
this is two stage paint, intended to be cleared coated . . .
(found this quickly using the Sherwin Williams Automotive site and their advanced search tool for formulas . . ) http://sw.formulaexpress.com/
