What's the offset of the 18" wheels you snagged?

Going from a 17x7 @ 48mm offset, to a 18x7.5 @ 40mm offset will push the wheel position out 14mm and provide 2mm less clearance on the inside.
The 205/35-R18 tires are smaller overall diameter, therefore your speedometer will read 2.5% too fast (ex: speedo says 60mph, you're acutally going 58.5mph).

So in real math terms that means the tires will stick out about 1/2" and be about an 1/8" closer to the struts. I'm too old for this metric stuff. I have no plans on lowering the car. Do you see a problem doing this? I haven't bought them yet. They are on NAM marketplace under wheels and tires. He lives near me and is holding them til later on this month.
