Time for new brakes, suggestions?

I'm in the market to replace the brakes on my '05 Cooper S manual. While I have done occasional track days in the past I don't think it is in the foreseeable future. I have looked at some of the MINI specialist guys around here and while I'd love to go with them I'm not sure the $1000 is in my budget. Any recommendations for good brake systems or installers would be appreciated. Also anything I should see as a red flag at an installer?
I'm north of Atlanta, Georgia in the Milton/Alpharetta area if that makes any difference.

Give Way a call - www.waymotorworks.com

He'll give you good advice on what you need for what you want to do, and he is local.

I have been impressed with the JCW Sport Brakes on my car on the street, but have not taken this car to the track......yet.
