New wheel compatibility

Hello All - I have a question. I am looking at buying a used set of rims. The owner had a 2008 Mini Cooper. I have a 2009 Mini Cooper Clubman - will the wheels fit? I have read mixed things about wheel changes....any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you

Yah they'll fit. The 08 MC And 09 Clubman are basically the exact same as far as wheel fitment goes.

should still work fine. most all stock wheels are interchangeable, even with the lug differences. an 08 vert is still 14mm just like the coupe

hold on

but look at the OPs sig, he has an S. Wouldnt there be a clearance issue with MC or MCC wheels and the S's larger brakes, even with 16s?

(requested a mod move this thread to the wheels forum.)

Yes, there would be a clearance issue.
None of the 15 inch and not all of the 16 inch wheels will fit.

To answer the question, which wheels will work, go here for a handy chart:

Hope this helps...
