ATE PremiumOne Slotted Rotor

Is anyone using the "bi-directional" slotted ATE PremiumOne rotors that are sold by Tire Rack? I'm getting ready to change out the rear pads and rotors on my '07 MCS and these rotors looked interesting and reasonably priced at $39 each. ATE is a quality brand so I was thinking about the "to good to be true" thing. Does anyone have experience with these and can make a recommendation? Thanks in advance for your help.

I've been running those rotors for many thousands of miles now. No issues, look good, work well.

I think that ATE rotor is 280 mm in diameter and if your car is a R56 MCS, the stock rotor is 294 mm in diameter. I got those rotors before but they did not fit my 08 MCS R56 so I had to return them.

slinger688: Did you get those rotors for the front or the rear? I noticed they were only available for the rear of the R56, which I will be replacing. Maybe the rears on the R56 are the same part used on a R53. Perhaps when the R56's are out of 3/36 maintenance and demand for the 294mm front rotors picks up ATE will start making them.

Those are the fronts.

I am not too sure about the rears. check realoem.com to see if they are the same part.

Those are PremiumOne Series rear fitment rotors. I've put 25K on mine with no trenching or other bad stuff. ATE makes a quality product - I've used them on my imports for 25 years, never had a problem.

I used to run these on my Scirocco.. great performance, reasonable price, quality stuff. ATE is a BIG vendor, lots of OEM work, and quite trustworthy.
