ok i have the stock 16" 5-spoke looking wheels with the stock size tires. 195/55/r16 in the good year runflat. I want a set of eagle f1 for it and wanted to know a few things
1 - will a 205 be ok on that rim?
2- woul i then go with 205/50/r16 since the width is wider therefor the hight ratio needs to be smaller?
Yeah, lots of people have switched to 205/50-16s on either the stock 16" wheels or aftermarket wheels. They're totally fine, and tire selection increases greatly. The overall tire diameter will be slightly less than the 195/55s, but it's not an issue. Your speedometer will read slightly fast.
