Did an HPDE this weekend, first time with the Wilwood 11.75 kit and Poly B's---it was fantastic; I definitely had more brake than my ability, and no fade (these are so much better than the JCW brakes on the track, although some of that was probably the pad), now I have more work to do to catch up with the brakes, they can definitely handle being pushed harder than what I did friday.
But now I need to bleed them--what size is the black inner bleeder screw? I want to get the proper sized tool for it, no way I'm using anything adjustable on it.
What brake pads are people who run the Poly B's putting on the stock rears? I still have stock pads back there, and I'm definitely going to put a better pad back there for my next event.
I used EBC Green Pads on the rear with Bs on the front for track days. When I asked Todd (TCE) about what rear pads to run, he said it did not matter much. I used Hawk HPS on the front for street with the EBC Green on the rear. I only switch front pads for track use.
I have the Wilwood 12.19's and Poly B's in front and and stock sized but drilled rotors in rear with EBC Greenstuff pads, work great and very little dust.Tried a set of Performance Friction pads, they worked ok,but no better than the Greenstuff's but were noisey and dust was terrible. Just my experience.

The reason I don't make a big push on rear brake pads is simply that there's little gain to be had in the form of torque back there under hard braking. Hence a lot of rear wheels up in the air...meaning brakes are less effective out back. That being said however a switch to a more temperature worthy pad would not be a bad thing either. The ability to sustain higher temps may help with any potential fade of the stock pad.
The bleeder nipple is 1/4 box wrench as stated. If you've rounded one of them now swap it for one of the un used ones on the bottom of the caliper.

Nah, they're off--I've got 10's on (was going to use those at the track, but got talked into the polyb's by everyone here--glad I listened), pads are a piece of cake to switch on and off--its so disgustingly easy I can't make an excuse not to!
