Hey Dan,

Just a shot in the dark, so it doesn't hurt to ask and who knows, requesting something might be enough to spurn production if enough people mention it. Anyway, I was wondering if the Rota RB would ever come in a 16" x 6.5" size in the foreseeable future? I'm trying to keep in a stock auto-x class, keep weight down (hence the avoidance of the 17" size), but still address issues of personal vanity. I like the style, but the 16" x 7" won't work for stock class. I'm sure production is based on if it's even feasible, based on design, to produce that size in this wheel style. Yeah, I've looked at the Boost and Slipstream, but like the RB a bit more.

Again, shot in the dark.

Thanks in advance for any info. you can give me!

John

Sorry John, but that's not likely. Slipstream comes in 16x6.5", though.

I'm interested in a set of the Linea Corse. Will i have any issues with rubbing running 18x8? I'd probably be stretching 215/35/18 over them as well.

On your website, there's a red clubman that's pretty low. Was there any fender modification done to the car? I should mention that the wheels will be going on a 2003 MCS. I'm not sure if there wheel wells of the newer generation allow more room.

Despite the center caps, we call those wheels "Rota MC." Anyway, you probably won't have any rubbing issues with the wheels, although the TIRES are normally the source of any rubbing problems, not the wheels per se.

That's a really narrow tire for an 8" wheel. I'd plan to put a 225 on it to keep it from looking really stretchy. Unless that's what you are going for...

No.

Yes, the new cars have a little more room. But 225 isn't uncommon the the R53.

hey dan yr Rota prices rock! a couple questions:

how much do the 16 x 7 Rota Torques weigh?

205/45/16 BF Goodrich G-Force Sports OK w/this wheel?

What else would I need beyond the TPMS sensors and stems? (I have an 09 MCSa)

Thanks JB

I don't have one in front of me, but my guess is around 16.5 pounds.

Er, those would be awfully short. That's 5% smaller than the stock 195/55R16. I'd suggest a 215/50R16, which is the same size as stock. Or 205/50R16, which is 1.5% smaller.

Nothing else.

Bump for these wheels..... I LOVE the Rota MCs and I might just take the leap if someone buys my brand new Konig Feathers and Bridgestone 960s.

I love the old school British look of the RB's... I'd like to run the 16x7 on my R53, but really want to install the Texas Speedwerks BDM brake kit. They have a template which will tell you if a wheel will fit with their brakes, and you have to print it out and hold it to the wheel:

http://www.txwerks.com/images/Instal...ILHOUETTE1.pdf

I realize that it would be a small PITA to print this template and measure the clearance, but these brakes are gaining popularity and others may want to know.

Thanks.
(ps. I think they fit over 15" Slipstreams, but that's another animal)

Sorry. That's a replica of an old Work wheel, and they never came in 17" as far as I know.

We're happy to ship them there, but at something like $95 each for shipping them, it will cost almost as much for freight as for the wheels themselves.

Which style? Hyper black is a color, not a wheel name.

Flat Black RB

Do you have the Flat Black RB 17 x 7.5 in stock? I just purchased new tires in size 205/45/17. Would I have any problems using these? These will be going on a 2005 MCS.

205 is pretty skinny for a 7.5" wheel. It'll fit on, but 215 (or wider) would be better.

Will 215-45-17 or 225-45-17 fit on the Rota SVN you carry (lowered or not)?

Dan,

What's the widest tire fitment for:
- ROTA RB 16x7
- ROTA RB 17x7.5
To fit on a stock height R56 MCS with no rubbing?

TIA
