I can't seem to get the shipping calculator on your web site's shopping cart to work. What is the out the door price to ship a set of Rota RB or Torque wheels in 17" to zip code 46038?
Sorry, no. We try to price our stuff as low as possible, though.

Can you mount and ship tires too? Bridgestone G019's to be specific.
Yes, but the cost of shipping mounted wheels and tires is so high, it's often not worth it. If you're not close to use, it's usually better to just get your tires and have them mounted locally.
What do you recommend for autocross? Most of your 17s seem to be in 7.5 width. I need 17 x 7 with 48 (or very close) offset to run in G stock. Lighter is better, but money is an issue.

I have the 2004 Monte Carlo 40th anniversary edition. That package only came with 17' wheels. I don't think I can run a 16" wheel in stock. It would bump me back to STX which I prefer not to do.

I'm not a rules expert, but in most cases you can run any stock wheel size the car came with that year. The car is going to be classified as "MINI Cooper," not "MINI Cooper Monte Carlo edition." So you should be within the rules to run 16" wheels.
"Option package conversions may be performed between specific vehicles of a particular make and model, but only between configurations from within a particular model year. Such conversions must be totally complete and the resultant car must meet all requirements of this Section."
This was always explained to me that if you were changing an option package, you had to change each item within the option package, even the cosmetic ones.
The real question is whether if you bought the MC40 package, you could also order 16" wheels. Don't know the answer to that.

Your interpretation of the rules is correct; you will need to run 17x7 wheels with legal offset if you wish to run in GS. The MC40s were fixed spec.
I remember the list of extras that came with the MC40 package being quite long. You could use 16" wheels (they would have to be 16x6.5...it's curious that this vendor does not carry them) if you swapped out the "accessory" items (silly stuff like the CF dash) for stock parts from the normal MCS. Check with the very knowledgeable people on the competition section of these forums.

RB vs Slipstream (anybody got silver 16" slipstream pics?)
Dan,
Isn't the equivalent sized Slipstream lighter yet (plus sure looks easier to clean)? ...and approximately the same price?
I really like the appearance of the 16x7 RB, but I've had owners tell me it's a pita to clean. Anybody got a picture of silver Slipstreams in 16" size on their Mini? I've looked everywhere and can't find one. Thanks in advance, Tom

Yes, the Slipstream is only 13.9 pounds. Honestly, "easy to clean" does not enter into my calculations for wheel choice -- even my most difficult-to-clean wheels only take a few minutes. Who cares if it's a minute more or less? Weight, cost, and style, certainly do factor into my decision. To me the RB is the quintessential look for a British sports car. The Slipstream, light as it is, just doesn't have the same flair. But that's just me.
Dan, will they be running a Rota RB 17 in chrome? Brake dust is just so much easier to get off of chrome. I like the Pure Silver MC in your photo, I have that same vehicle but I'd like to imagine it with the Silver Rota RB 17. Are those in the photo 17?
