Do'able like will they fit? Yes. But that color is not currently in stock in the U.S.

I do have that wheel available in flat black with a red lip.

Do you have any lightweight (less than 15 pounds) wheels in 17" size that would clear a Brembo brake kit without spacers?

No. Very, very few 17" wheels weigh less than 15 pounds. For that you'll generally need a forged wheel, $500 or more each.

To me, anything less than 17 pounds for a 17" wheel is quite light. Sub-15-pounds is very difficult to find.

Dan, if I was OK with 17 lbs for a rim, which rotas rims would clear either Brembo or TSW BBKs, something like 12.2" by .81" mid-sized calipers.

Hey Dan, question...

Rota Torques, 16x7 et40...do they clear the brake calipers ok on an R56 MCS, and are the bolt holes 14mm? Thinking of changing from my RBs (very nice, but still not the look I'm satisfied with)

Sorry, I don't. But I think that sounds like a great combo.

Dan,

Do the fake bolts on the MC's come off or are they glued on? I was wondering this because I wanted to paint them a different a color.

Are the silver MC's coming back in stock anytime soon?

Thanks.

They're probably threaded in, but I haven't tried to remove them.

Not that I know of. Perhaps Steel Gray would be acceptable to you? (It's on the left, Hyper Black on the right.)

Dan,

Is the steel grey only on the center part like the black ones? or does it extend out to where the bolts are?

Thanks.

Hey guys,
I'm thinking about new wheels and was talking with a few friends and i pretty much decided on Grids. Would i be fine going with the 17x8 with a 28 offset on 225's? I'm Running an 06 mcs and i might be lowering it in the near future.
Thanks,
-Mason

They look exactly like this:

It's a little hard to tell, but the painted part extends out under the fasteners.

Er, no. First of all, that offset is too low. Secondly, that wheel doesn't come in that size/offset/bolt pattern anyway. In 17" you're looking at 17x7.5 +45. That's your only choice.

Mostly, NO. You've posted two pictures of cars from Europe that have slightly different Rota wheels than we sell. The Nightfire Red Clubman is wearing the wheels we sell; in fact that's my picture.

Rota RB's

I am looking at getting some RB's for my BRG/W R53 but can not decide on 16 or 17, I know I am going to have to get them powder coated white as I have done my homework and read this thread from start to end.
Could some of you R53 with RB's owners please post your side view pictures so I can see the difference between the 16 and 17? Also could you let me know what size and make of tire you have and if your car is lowered or not?

Thanks in advance

Andy

By the way, up here in Canada they are running at $1050 including taxes, does that sound right?

Not 100% sure... but I think they do come in the white face/polished lip combo.

That's technically possible, but I have never heard of or seen such a combo. Just because it's listed on some web site somewhere does not mean it physically exists.

Our web page, HERE, has several pictures of cars wearing these wheels. Most are 17", but there's one with 16's.

They are all R56 as far as I can see, I am looking for a few good pictures of R53s with RB's on. I think I went through this whole thread and only noticed one R53 and I am not sure what size wheels they are.
Sorry to be a PITA, I just want to be sure of what I want before I lay out the cash.

Andy
