R98 Webspokes compatibility from year to year...

Hello all,

Just picked up a set of webspokes off of a fellow member...the polished ones Passat774 was selling here:
http://www.northamericanmotoring.com...d.php?t=123462

My question is, i'm going to be putting these on my 2008 MCS that I don't have yet lol. I was wondering what years of webspokes have the provisions to mount TPMS sensors in them? What about the lug hole size...are all the R98's the same size or is there a 12mm or 14mm difference like with all the other MINI wheels...I tried searching for this info, but no luck. Anywho, if anyone has any info about this let me know. Worst case scenario i'll run these and have the annoying TPMS warning light on and do the 12mm stud conversion...but i'd rather not do either of those things if I don't have to.

Thanks,
Colin

I think you will be fine for 2008 MINIs.

Webspoke is 17x7 and large enough to fit over any stock front MINI brake caliper. Bolt hole size is big enough for new or older bolt diameters.

MINI has kept the tire sizes and wheels sizes the same from the start but only the front brake caliper has some variation in size with 2007 MCS having standard larger calipers while 2007 MC does not.

TPMS should be OK with webspoke rims any year, you can confirm this with Alex@tirerack.com

If you NAV screen on your MINI you can reset TPMS from the screen menu if it trips when using wheels lacking TPMS so you really don't have to add TPMS if you have NAV.

Sweet, thanks for the info! I don't/won't have NAV but that's a cool tidbit of information!
