So please post up your configurations and I will update the list here. Vendor help is appreciated. If you have a spread sheet of this info you can email it to erikbruner [at] gmail [dot] com . I will parse the info and post it here.

Disclaimer: I accept no responsibility for the items on this list. You must do your research when purchasing wheels for your bbk, and always be ready for spacers/issues. This is simple a reference list of what other people have been running. By purchasing wheels and brakes blindly off this list you are in essence taking some ones word for it. Good Luck.

Detroit Tuned kit fits the OEM R-90 wheels but only has about 1-2mm clearance. I was fine until a damaged wheel caused some rubbing. I'd suggest a 3-5mm spacer with these wheels.

just found this post
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...=big+brake+kit

i'm pulling a lot of info from it. I am going to try and consolodate as much of this info as i can. Todd@tce states in that thread that this is a daunting and difficult task... I agree. At the very least if we get people posting the setups that they have run with which wheels it's a start.

As any one with a bbk knows... wheel shopping is a stressful and obnoxious process.

Wilwood 12.2 Kit (all are no spacer)
Fikse Mach V +37 17"
BBS LM 17"
Team Dynamics 1.2 17"
Minilite "B" 17"
Rota Slipstream +40 16"
Rota Circuit 8 +40 16"

Once there is a bit of data you might want to group the wheels by size and then sort in alpha order.

Thanks for the data nate. Yeah I had planned on formatting and organizing once I get enough data to actually be meaning full.

I'll have to defer to many 13" customers and what they are running for the aftermarket parts, but...the TCE/Wilwood 13" (now called Plus 3) clears the 17" R90 with an optional 2.5mm spacer. And longer bolts/studs.

The Plus 4 will require far more room, similar to that of the Stoptech kit.
The Plus 5 will require 18" wheels but remains more wheel friendly than 4.

added your info. I haven't quite figured out if i should add general info. I'm hoping that we can get enough data packed in here where averages will speak for themselves.

all the others fit too, but they're not 15" or 16". Any 17"+ should clear, as do:
Enkei MM2 17x7ET42
BBS RV-F 17x7.5ET42
Motegi Touge 18x7.5ET45
OEM R90
OEM R91
BBS LM in 17x7.5
Prodrive P1 17x7ET42

That's it for me since the brakes were installed in January.

OZ Ultraleggera 16x7 and 17x7's also fit over our BBK with no issues. Also, Rota Slipstreams in 16x7 with a +40 and most 17" BBS.

And a whole host of other wheels - R90's fit with NO problems, too.

Updated. Thanks for the help guys. I hope that people understand that this isn't the end all list in what fits.

I'm on the fence about posting things like "Most 17" wheels" or stuff like that... what do you guys think?

MINI says any OEM 17" wheel fits the JCW kit except for one model I think. edit - all OEM 17" wheels fit

I just tested the AP Racing profile on the R91 Bullets. Yeah, not unless you have a 50mm spacer

I agree.

We posted at some point with all the successful fitments we did from our fitment party - I'll see if I can find that.

keep in mind it's rare for any aftermarket 17" to have a high offset like OEM since we're basically stealing Honda fitments anyhow. If any OEM 17" works, most all aftermarket wheels will work on the JCW kit. I wouldn't dare say that about anything else like Wilwood, Brembo, Stoptech or AP Racing.

Right on. I noted the oem's. What is bringing this on is I was just shopping for some new wheels, just because. It's a real downer because I always see something that I would love to have for cheap... but the reality is I have no idea if it will fit over my brakes... chances are it won't.

Frustrating. After collecting all this stuff I may switch it up.

I agree. I can score an AP Racing setup for cheap, but they won't work with either of the two OEM sets I have (R90 and R91). I could keep and swap the JCW brakes on for the winter, but that seems silly. The AP kit is only a 10mm larger rotor, so not sure it's worth the tradeoffs.

Here's the link to out fitment template - check the scale when you print it and tape it to something stiff (e.g. cardboard or the like):

http://www.txwerks.com/images/Instal...ILHOUETTE1.pdf

Some of the aftermarket wheels tested were OZ Ultraleggera (16 and 17's fit fine, +37), Team Dynamics Pro Race 1's (15 w/ +38 and 17's with +42 work fine, all 17" are fine), NZO 16x7 Speedy Star (looks like a knockoff of the Kosei K1, fits fine), BS RC (17x7, +42 worked great), Rota Slipstream (16x7 with +45 does NOT provide enough clearance, +40 works fine), BBS RV-F (17x7.5, +42 works great). Of all the aftermarket wheels tested, only the 16x7 Rota Slipstream with the +45 didn't pass. Most track-friendly wheels clear just fine, give a +42 or greater offset and curved spokes for clearance.

May be obvious but oem r84's fit JCW brakes on R53s nicely. Just be careful where the weight tape is placed.
