Shhhh... NEW SSR - C type Comp replacement : F type

We are pleased to announce the addition of a new SSR wheel to our program.

The new wheel is the Type F / F-RS.

15” and 16” are Type F single piece SSF

17”, 18” and 19” are Type F-RS hybrid two-piece SSF

The new wheel is engineered to be stronger and lighter than the Type C / C-RS. On average the new wheel will weigh about .3 - .5 lbs. less for any given size.

The wheel will be slightly more expensive than the Type C
(final pricing has not been determined yet)

The wheel will be available in a flat black paint like is shown in the photo. We will look at adding any additional finishes next year.

Delivery for the new wheel will be early 2008 to be ready for the spring season.

call me directly

Alex

I'm going to guess 500+ for 18s. If the 17s are in the $400 range i'm going for it. Reserve me a set alex?

I know the comps were about $480/wheel for the 18s.

*repeating to myself "I do NOT need three sets of SSRs for my MINI, I do NOT need three sets of SSRs for my MINI..."*

The type C-RSs that I have are 'hybrid' SSF, the original Comps were made from a single piece of metal, The Type C have two pieces, the wheel center to the front lip is one piece, the remaining rim from the drop center to the backside is a separate piece welded to the forward section. Not quite as 'elegant', but I think it ends up making a lighter wheel overall. Will the new rim be available in dark silv... uh, Anthracite? :impatient

OH. My. GAWD. My WIFE IS GONNA KILL ME.

How wide are they? FOr my own car, I would prefer silver, or a diamond black type finish.
