Winter Set -- new wheels, new TPMS?

I am planning on switching out to Nokian WR's shortly after my MCSa arrives in Oct/Nov. My newbie question is regarding the TPMS -- If I get new wheels, do I need to get a new set of TPMS sensors? If so, does anyone know the cost and if tire people are familiar with this issue?

Thanks a bunch!

'07 and earlier, the TPMS is measuing the rotaion of the wheel itself. When it sences one wheel rotating at a different rate (which happens when one tire looses pressure), it sets off the warning light in the car. '08 cars will be using a different system, though. Just double-check with the dealer which set-up you have when the car arrives (they occasionally swich out to new stuff mid-year).

The only thing you'll probably need to do is re-set your sensor once the new wheels are on and you've set your cold PSI. Check your manual for instructions on how to do this.

I've heard that late '07s also have the same system as on the '08s.

Thanks, msh441, that makes a _lot_ of sense. I'll wait for the car to show up and ask the SA then.
