Anyone need a roommate for BRPT '09, Friday and Saturday?
I feel like a stranger in a strange land posting here, but what the heck. It's worth a shot.
I may have the opportunity to be in the area during the BRPT, and I've been offered a passenger seat for transportation. The issue is that I don't have a place to stay on the required nights, as this was only a recent development. I was wondering on the off chance if there happened to be anyone in need of or willing to take in a roommate for Friday and Saturday nights (I think only those two, but I'd have to make sure). A paying roommate, of course. I'm not asking for charity here--just a space to stay among friendly fellow MINI motorists.
I'm more than happy to sleep on the floor, too. Last time I went to an academic conference, we slept something like 7 to a two-bed room over the span of four nights.
