Four intrepid MINIacs (Mr and Mrs bintliff, oznogonzo and BlimeyCabrio) made it out to Brier Creek last night. We had a fun time looking at each other's rides (especially Mrs. bintliff's new (to her) CR MCS cabrio!) and talking about all things MINI. We agreed to startup a regular monthly meet & eat on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 at Brier Creek - fairly convenient to most places in the Triangle. And I'm planning a Tour de Steamplume run (maybe with Xios eats and/or an optional train ride) for later in the summer. I'll work with Drew and crew to set a compatible date for that so lots of folks can come over.
We're going to be doing some local recruiting to build numbers. And Mr. bintliff is reaching out to the local M2C2 members to join in the fun. The more, the merrier!
