New suspension company?

i don't remember the name of this company or how i got linked to it. it's a fairly new company (4 or 5 years old) that is just getting started here in the U.S.A. and Canada. the company was started by a man who worked as a designer for H&R (?) and left to form his own company. the products were good-looking and were priced VERY well and i just can't seem to find them anywhere! i thought i saw them on ESE's website but i could have been wrong. any help would be appreciated!

Those were Patec suspensions you seen earlier. They are very popular in the VW scene, but are releasing their race suspensions for the MINI in a few weeks. Their race kits should be pretty trick with their electronically controlled dampening system that allows you to adjust dampening and compression while inside of your MINI.

We started importing the suspension kits a couple of months ago, but with the EURO<->USD rate being so high, we were unable to be competitive. I may bring in one of their Race kits in for evaluation, just to see if they are worth bringing over here to the states.

Can't say yet...the jury's still out on Patec. It looks grim, though. I wasn't too impressed with their finishline and holeshot series (comparable to FK), but I have yet to take a look at their new race series. Maybe I'm too negative toward their suspensions because I compare them to KW:smile:

Patec makes a good coilover for those looking for a cheap way to lower their VW, but we have higher standards for the MINI
