Anyone know if R56 coil overs will fit on a R60? What are the differences in the 2 models, just stronger/larger parts on the R60?

So R56 and R60 are able to be swapped. Interesting....

 

they are different part numbers, I've seen very little R60 suspension upgrades compared to the more mini minis.

 

Looks like KW r60 and r56 hardtop numbers are the same though

 

The factory replacement struts are specific to the models. They will physically 'fit' different models, but the factory has different part numbers for different models - possibly because they may have slightly different dampening curves.

However, most aftermarket units are not model specific. Hope that helps!
