What are your suspension/handling plans for your CM? Or current setup?

Hi all!

Starting a thread that is only suspension/handling mod related. Not necessarily for questions, but feel free to ask if something you see sparks your interest.

EVERYONE is welcome and highly encouraged to post here! This is for all CMs. From the base models to the JCW models.

This is a "what's your plan?" or "What has been working for you?" type of thread. Basically one place we can share ideas on every aspect of our suspension and handling characteristics, rather than having 1000 different threads.

You are more than welcome to post pics and feel free to add-on any install instructions or advice you think may be useful.

Bottom line... share everything related to handling!

----------

I'll start.

I haven't done anything at all yet, but I've built up a list that should make the CM All4 handle pretty darn well.

Goal is a 50/50 weight split, with plenty of adjustability and reinforcements. Newer to the Mini AWD, I'm hoping adjustments are similar to other AWD systems. Shooting for -1.0 to -1.5 degrees of camber in the rear and -2.5 up front. Slight toe-in at the rear and slight toe-out up front.

I've found most of the parts I'm looking for, but can't seem to find others. Any input and/or recommendations are welcome.

Here are my suspension/handling plan (revised):
??? - Front Sway Bar

$168 - Sway Bar End Links (Front) http://www.jmturbocoopers.com/Front-Sway-Bar-Link.html

$168 - Sway Bar End Links (Rear) http://www.jmturbocoopers.com/Mini-R...-Bar-Link.html

$220 - 24mm Rear Sway Bar http://www.waymotorworks.com/wmw-pac...-sway-bar.html

$60 - Torque Arm Inserts http://www.waymotorworks.com/nm-engi...r60-all-4.html

$558 - Rear Adjustable Control Arms kit x2 http://www.minidynamics.com/NM-Alumi...-nm.328854.htm

$995 - BC Racing Coilovers (I believe comes with front sway bar links) http://www.importimageracing.com/bc-...ryman-r60.html

I'm planning on a RSB and probably coil overs. Haven't decided on a manufacturer for either yet

Def. do a rear sway bar as the first mod it is by far the best bang for the buck suspension mod you can do. It will give you more neutral handling while reducing body roll.

After you do that then drive it and decide if you want coilovers or not.
