Suspension TSW Springs

TSW Springs
I ordered a set of TSW springs for my R56 from Way back in Feb. Still on backorder. Way does not have an ETA.
Does anyone know if these guys still plan on making these springs or have any insight into the hold up? I’m getting kinda stir crazy.
Wanted these springs since it offers better weight transfer with barely a drop. It’s my DD, so I really don’t want it lower. I've been driving lowered cars my whole life and now I'm too old

I'm in the same boat, ordered mine at the end of April. When was the last time you contacted Way? It's been a month or so since I last called. I heard a rumor that the company that makes the springs is quite busy and once they receive an order it can take a month or two to begin filling that order. They might need to order materials and once the springs are wound they have to be sent out to be powder coated. It is possible that the manufacturer is waiting for a large enough order before the begin producing more.
Don't take my word for the rumors, Way is the one who has the real answers!

Cool, I'm not alone!
I last emailed Way in July - and a few times before that. I also contacted a few other MINI parts retailers and they all say the same thing 'sold out, no ETA'.
Kinda bummed I've missed the entire summer driving season waiting for these. I understand a lot goes into making them, but a full 6 mos? Oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait it out.

Me too - I'm going on 2 months now. Talked to Way a couple of weeks ago. They said they had several people waiting, but no ETA. I ordered a set of H-Sport control arms at the same time and finally received them today. Kind of wanted to install everything at the same time. Very frustrating!

Talked to Way earlier today. He said he's expecting to receive a batch of the R53 springs sometime in October. I asked him what the problem was and he said they had to fire their original supplier because they were using poor quality materials. They’ve been through several suppliers since then, trying to get one that could meet their specs. They finally found one, but had to go back and tweak things to account for the difference in materials. Sounds like they've put a lot of time and effort into getting things right.
So… the wait may soon be over and according to Way, should be worth it.
