i had to warranty a set after a year due to leaks and broken end links. cheap, normally is cheap.. give us a call and we can give you some options on what is best for your needs. coil overs are race car suspensions and you need to think of it that way. also is it an all year car, or will it see snow, all things to think about.

If you dont want a crappy ride, then dont buy vmaxxs, especially if you are on low profile tires on 17"s.

IMO not all coilovers ride as if they are "race suspensions" alot has to do with valving and spring rates, and with proper set-up some will ride better then factory.

Look into the ST coil overs, got mine from the suspension source. Not installed yet butshould ride better than vmax and not that pricey.

The Vmaxx do go really low, but there is a reason they are cheap.

If your trying to stay cheap the Megan Racing would be a better buy.

I would recommend ST or KW coilovers.

I do not suggest KW, that is unless you wish to have bent rear shocks, and a useless front...all after only 30k worth of service.

IMO Spend the money once, and forget about it.

Those aren't issues I have ever dealt with on KW coilovers.

Well it is one, that I have. No, the car was not slammed. It was barely even dropped actually.

The rear bent shocks are also seen by a respected technician among many MINI boards as well.

That's strange. I know TSW/Way Motor Works and myself have only good luck with KW coilovers. Have you spoken with KW about the problem?

Initial conversations from the supplier of the suspension, and then also KW lead to: "send the whole set in, and we will investigate."

Side-stepped the whole ordeal; bought some ASTs and wont ever look back.

Should have sent it in. The guys at KW are good people. Maybe it was just that kit. Like I have said I sell a good amount of KW and ST without any issues.
