I'm looking to install these camber plates on my 2005 MCS. Do installing these camber plates require that I compress the springs? Is there a thread on how to install camber plates? FWIW, everything else on my front suspension is stock. I'm looking for better corning performance for autocross. I already have a stiffer rear sway bar, and Dunlop Drizza Sport tires.
Yes, you'll need a spring compressor. Installing the camber plates is basically the same as R&R'ing the struts. It replaces the upper strut mount which retains the upper spring perch. Any of the threads about R&R front struts will work for you. You MUST get the car aligned IMMEDIATELY after the install, or you risk tire wear.

many local parts store will rent you a spring tool for free for the day. It's also an easier job with a 2nd set of hands. IanF is right about the alignment, while the camber will be fixed the TOE must be re-set.
