Cross Users?

I tried to lower my front end down today because the new stiffer swift springs keeps the front end up a bit higher. I found out that I was pretty close to being all the way down as is.

Here is a photo of it "all the way down" - is it possible I have a longer body absorber than the standard setup? I got mine from RMW and the springs were also lower spring rate than the standard setup.

It looks like it is setup to use a much longer spring?

you need to add tender springs to your set up.

Hmmm, thats strange. Ive herd of people cutting down the bump stops for more clearance but id be worried about straining the axels.
If they make a smaller factory bump stop ill let you know
Pm me your cars last 7 of the vin ill do some poking around if you want.
I can also get you the parts.

Are you sure they're all the way down? It looks like a lot of thread left to be maxed out.

you need to shorten the length of the shock body.

left side locking collar removed and spun down. right side full shock travel.

this image comes from a vdub. but it's virtually the same setup. their coilover kits don't seem to have the bottom locking collar like ours does.
i would leave the locking collar on.

you need to drop it out of the shock tower and spin it down once you move the locking collar up.

He's correct. Just loosen the locking collar at the bottom and then to lower it, rotate the top most spring perch clockwise to lower the car.

The body is all the way turned down. It stops at the same spot on both left and right sides.

the body is all the way down? but you want to spin them up. or in other words, when you remove the shock from the tower, you spin the spring perch/camber plate section down.

seems really odd to me, the cars ive seen with JIC/Cross go low.
