JCW big brake kit and my 16" X-Lites

will this kit fit on my cooper s with the 16" x-lite wheels?

is it worth getting this kit? I have to replace the brakes, and at 700 bucks its not much more than 4 new rotors and EBC pads.

It will just fit. The X-lite was not officially listed as a wheel that fits, but some have run them with the JCW brakes. Only millimeters to spare...

I don't think spacers will help. It is the fit against in the inner diameter of the rim that is tight, not the inside face. Phil Wicks ran this set up on one of his track trainers, so I don't think you need to worry about heat.

Great.

Do you guys think the JCW kit is the best bet, at roughly 200 bucks over the cost of good replacement rotors + ebc pads? The JCW kit even comes with rear pads for the stock calipers. I'd just need to get a cheap set of rotors.

That's not a bad price.
Another option is Wilwoods from TCE
