I'm on Long Island. I'd definitely help you out if I'm not at school or work. I don't have load of experience, but if you just need another set of hands I don't mind. I will probably get the same springs eventually so I'll know how to do it.

Check out the DIY. With some basic hand tools and a jack you should be able to get it done.

Call your local autozone and borrow/rent a spring compressor. OR remove the struts from the car and have a local NAPA remove the old springs. IIRC, you may not need a spring compressor to reassemble if they are lowring springs.

"Renting" them is free at a lot of Auto Parts places. Basically they charge your card for the part and refund you when you return it. You don't need them to reassemble, especially if you have a second pair of hands.

It's about a 4-8 hour job DIY depending on tools, knowledge, and assistants.

I did mine, half in the rain, with a friend a couple weeks ago in 4 hours. An impact gun does speed things up on disassembly but it's not at all a requisite.

Go for it. You'll learn something!

The tire pressure monitor can be reset from the the OBC button on the end of your turn signal lever. As for the CEL it probably has nothing to do with a coilover install. Stop by your Autozone and they'll pull the code for you.

Yeah, those lights can be very coincidental. I had mine come on during the drive home from getting new tires put on. Nothing to do with the tires (thermostat). Just happened to come up at that particular moment.
