m7 strut bar and webb air intake, does it work?

do you know if the m7 strut brace fits over the Webb motorsport CAI box? Any experiences?

They claim theirs will fit over any airbox. Tell that to my Alta box top that has been rubbed to death.... sorry but i dont have direct experience with the Webb application.

thanks for the heads up. Did you have to cut out pieces off the hood insulation?

Some people say they didn't, some do. I did with mine. It was far easier that way.

No need to cut the insulation out, You can soak the hood insulation down with water. I used a spray bottle and "injected" the water into the area that sits on top of the strut bar. Take a plastic garbage bag to protect the strut bar from insulation sticking, close the hood and leave it over night. DON'T FORGET TO REMOVE THE GARBAGE LINER THE NEXT DAY! ! Works like a charm and your insulation will stay intact!
