To Grease or Not to Grease...

Powerflex bushings usually come with a synthetic copper grease, and I have used it on my powerflex polyurethane engine mounts. Unfortunately this 'grease' did not come with my powerflex polyurethane gearbox mounts. The questions are do I need to grease these and if I cannot get the synthetic copper grease, what should I use? I have heard Mobile One synthetic grease will work on poly bushings/mounts etc, so what's the scoop on the greases?

The powerflex Gearbox mounts have never come with grease. It's not required. You can just use a pair of big pliers and pop the bushing into place.

I didn't use any lubricant when I installed my mounts. I must have skimmed right over the words engine mounts...reading too much about LCA bushings lately

Garage
All you need for the transmission mount bushings is a large rubber mallet.
