R56 Lowering Springs

I currently have TSW springs and like the ride, but was wanting to go a little lower in ride height.

Looking at NM springs and others that lower about 1.2 to 1.5 inches.

Will my oem sport shocks/struts last on springs that low? Or have most of you moved to different struts/shocks like Koni sports?

Also looking into coilovers, but I rarely attend track events.

Read from post 45 down.

In a nutshell, you don't have to worry about the shocks wearing out prematurely.

most of what I've seen is getting 1-1.5" outta springs and shocks and for anything greater you are talking coilovers
