There OK...

Pretty stiff, not bouncy at all yet , But enough to get annoying sometimes espically living around a urban area...But Being decently low its my own fault i know

I had FK Silverlines on my 03 VW GTI on the last threads and I Still think it rode better.. but that might be due to the heavier car or longer wheel base..

So far for what I paid for them and there excellent service( Including them replacing my endlinks when the rubber boot failed)

So all in all you get what you pay, there not the $1600 set I used to own but there not bad!

Here's some pics

Hey guys,
I just installed these coilovers on my 07 MCS today. So far i love them, but i have 2 small issues that maybe you guys could help me with. First is that when i got the ride height and spacers on to clear everything, my ABS sensors are now going off... Ive done some research and im thinking it maybe due to the camber in the rear wheel, witch is pretty significant, or so my mechanic friend says. Apparently the ABS and DSC sensors will go off if the wheel tilts to much. My second problem is that when i accelerate from about 15-45 mph the car kind of whobbles alittle. when i let off the gas it stops, but when i press it it shakes. and only in that mph range. Dose anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
Kev

Could have disturbed the Wheel speed sensors. ABS and DSC will be disabled if it senses that the wheel speed sensor is not functioning correctly

Is there a way to reset them without going to the dealer?

Vibration is normal after lowering due to the axles being worn in at your previous height. The added camber didn't cause your light to go on. You probably have a bad or unplugged wheel speed sensor.

I don't think it's a software issue, you most likely damaged or loosened one. Once you plug it back in (or repair it) the problem will go away.

Is it always there, or intermittent?

The wheel speed sensor (a wire by your front tires, next to your brake lines) are being worn and exposing the wires. The reason for this is when you're lower, the wire arches more, thus contacting rotating parts. This is what happened to me. I wrapped them in electrical tape as they haven't worn all the way out yet, and ziptied them to the brake line to make sure they don't rub anymore. Take off your wheel and stick your head behind the rotor, you'll see what i'm talking about. However if your light doesn't go off (mine went on and off intermittently), then your wire is prob worn too far and done for. $125 for new ones (either each or the pair) from the dealer.
