Questions about the R56 trailing arm for R53 conversion kit?

I started this thread if there are any questions about the R56 Trailing Arm for R53 Conversion Kit we offer.

Parts included:
1 Trailing Arm - Aluminum Left 33-32-6-765-377
1 Trailing Arm - Aluminum Right 33-32-6-765-378
2 Self tapping Screw M14x1.5x101 33-32-6-770-089
2 Bushing Stopper 33-31-6-761-779
1 Bushing Bracket Left 33-30-6-772-665
1 Bushing Bracket Right 33-30-6-772-666
2 Hex Bolt with Washer M12x1.5x83-10.9 33-30-6-768-048
2 Self Locking Collar Nut M12x1.5-10ZNS3 33-32-6-760-374
2 Hex Bolt with Washer M12x1.5x100 33-30-6-772-658
2 Adjusting Plate 33-32-6-767-869

Some other items...

like Ryan found in the Alliance article, you need to do something about the sway bar end link. The bolt on the R53 one is too short, as is the one for the Alta R53 sway bar. You can grind down the boss like Ryan did, or get a end-link for the R56. I haven't called Alta yet to see if they have parts to modify the R53 adjustable end link.

My arms didn't have tapped holes for the speed sensor allen head bolt. It's a M6x1 thread so you can buy a tap.

For those with the TCE larger rear brake rotors, you have to grind down the arms a bit otherwise the button head screws will interfere with the control arm and the caliper frame wont seat properly.

Since it seems this conversion (which is quite involved and expensive) is done to reduce unsprung weight, what exactly is the weight difference between R53 steel and R56 cast alumium rear arms?
