Does anyone know if it is possible to get the oem switch for the driving lights as a kit? say, for adding aftermarket lamps? I wish i could order the whole kit installed MINUS the OEM driving lamps themselves. I'd love to have the original location switch and graphic.

As far as I know, the rectangular switch you get in the Mini OEM Rally Lamps cannot be bought separately - again, this switch is not round, but rectangular. We are playing with it now and there literally is no place to put this switch that looks appealing to our eyes at least.

I would recommend looking at http://www.hella.com for some very OEM and germany looking switches that will match well.

You cvan add any kind of 12v switch to your custom rally lamp set up. It will be difficult to add a toggle to your toggle bar as the bar is not wired like your conventional automotive wiring harness.

If the OEM Rally lamp switch is not located on the toggle bar, then my next question is this: What is the second "lights" switch on the toggle bar aside from the fog lamps?

Left window, right window, lock/unlock, DSC, fog lamps, and Then that other lights switch. What is it? Silly, but I want to fill up my toggle bar.

I believe it is the Driving Stability Control (DSC) switch - my car is not near me at the moment.

some pictures i looked at in the brochures made it look like a city light or driving light legend on the bar itself. . .just my 2 cents.

>>The switch that you see in the brochures is the rear fog light switch, which isn't used in the US (rear fog lights aren't legal) and I think that position is left vacant.

Rear fog lights are legal (many Euro cars come with them in the U.S. market) though it may vary state to state.

When my S comes in I will be buying the Euro version of that switch panel to try and activate the rear fog light which is already wired and which already has a bulb in place.
