From heaven to ... :(

I just got my MCS and after 4 days I started getting this metallic sound and a slipping from the pulley band. Went to the dealer and told me that the pulley needed adjustement and lube. After 5 minutes it was back. Went to my dealer and he made an appointment to have a new pulley installed. Have this ever happened to any of you guys? Thanks

i have something similar on my 05 mcs, my dealer said to let it break in, at 60 miles it was horrendously loud, now at 1000 I barely ever hear it. Still going to take it in to get looked at, but I've been too lazy

I am at that stage, terribly loud. I pray it doesn't brake anything until Monday morning.

It wasn't the pulley, it was the blower in the supercharger so I have to wait a week or so as those parts are in short supply. My question is, are they in short supply beacuse it is a common occurance or a very rare one?

I got word from my dealer (Braman Miami) that there is a 3-4 week wait for the parts. I can pick up the car and drive it until they arrive. He also mentioned that there are others in a similar situation. Has anybody else experienced this?
