Coolant Leak!

ok, I was on my way back from getting a 15% pulley, sway bar and borla exhaust yesterday at Helix and about 10 mins from home my engine starting to smoke and overheat! I called eric at helix(who is awesome and was really helpful) and It was just that I had no coolant under the hood. So I made it to a gas station and put coolant in the car and drove home. I later noticed on my garage floor that there was already dried coolant on the floor! So now I have a coolant leak. I just got my car is dec., this shouldn't happen. I am hopefully going to bring it to the dealership tomorrow to get fixed. I am worried that they are going to be a pain because they might notice my 15% pulley. Has anybody had a problem like this and are the dealerships ok with fixing stuff like that even when they see aftermarket stuff in the car. I am taking it to prestige mini, in jersey. Does anybody know how they are with taking care of cars with aftermarket stuff on the car? sorry for the paragraph but any help would be appreciated, thanks!

i think i remember something about coolant overflow tanks cracking and leaking all the coolant out. you should check to see if it split open or do a search on NAM to see if you can find an article about it.

coolant leak

Check your hoses. And I had my waterpump replaced due to faulty o-rings in the waterpump. I might still have this problem. I noticed coolant leaking during 0 degree temps. My car is stored during the winter months and it has been oing this the past 2 winters. I will double check my coolant hoses and such. The dealer pressure tested the system and found no leaks. I am still worried because a coolant leak is a coolant leak.

I have an 2004 MCS. Check to see if you have coolant on the exhaust heat shield.IF you do, it is most likely the cap or the tank. I had the same problem fixed under warranty No problem with the 15% pulley with the dealer.
